Massage Therapist and Reiki Master
My journey has me on a path of teaching people about health and wellness and helping them to heal faster by focusing on the root causes of illness and stress. My tools are Reiki, therapeutic massage and sound therapy with tuning forks. Tuning forks can align the 7 main Chakra’, which are key to the proper functioning of the body. Combining these modalities can speed up healing in half the time it would normally take!
I became drawn to helping others because of my mother, who had MS and left this world to early at the age of 58. At the time, I did not know how to help her.
My wish for you is to help you find healthy ways to get and be happy and keep your body functioning in balance. It is my greatest desire to help you with the tools I have learned over the past seven years that can help people regain their health.
Some of the way’s I stay healthy and balanced are hiking, going for drives and hanging out with my cats and my Dad.
Jessica McDonald R.Ac, ADS
When Jessica McDonald began to explore concepts in wellness over a decade ago, she found herself increasingly drawn to Eastern medicine. No matter the question, there was an answer. No matter the ailment, there was a treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine practices seemed not to be a surface solution, but address the whole person and get to the root of the issue. This concept is the foundation for TCM and for how Jessica chose to live her life.
Today, Jessica is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a graduate of Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a member of the Alberta Governing Board of Acupuncturists (CAAA).
Jessica is deeply imbedded in the acupuncture community; in addition to supporting clients in her private practice, she provides acupuncture services at an addiction treatment centre, speaks to groups, and hosts workshops about acupuncture and wellness.
Jessica restores her spirit with dog walks, yoga, the gym, paddling, reading, cruising on her bike, watching movies, cooking and gardening.
