Barb Davies

Consultant

Barb first arrived at Vitamins First in 1995, young and eager to learn. Since then, she completed her degree in Biological Sciences (BSc), and pursued her passion for nutrition. In 2002, Barb became the co-owner of Vitamins First, with her husband Rich.   Barb is now a current Vitamins First consultant.  She has co-authored a cookbook entitled SLICE – Health Inspired Food, a creation that provides practical ideas for individuals to incorporate healthy food into their lifestyle (visit www.sliceofhealth.com). Barb is committed to helping others on their journey to optimal health, by sharing her knowledge and experience with others.

Rich Davies

Consultant

Rich graduated as a Naturopathic Doctor in the year 2000 and upon his return to Calgary began working at Vitamins First. Rich is now a current Vitamins First consultant. Rich enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience, gained from his education and clinical practice, with the customers at Vitamins First. He emphasizes the importance of using supplements in conjunction with a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Ame Kiso

Consultant

Ame has been involved in the holistic health field for more than 10 years. She has studied herbology, aroma therapy and flower essences. She is also seeking knowledge in the area of traditional Chinese medicine, and is on a continuing quest for knowledge that can be put to practical use.

Sandra Lemmer

Consultant

Sandra is a true believer in the value of body-mind-spirit balance for a life rich in health and happiness. She has been engaged in holistic health for over 15 years and is always learning more to apply to her own life and share with others. She comes to us as a holistic nutritionist with training in herbology and a special interest in energy and consciousness.

Audra Savage RN LCCE

Consultant

A Registered Nurse, Audra is a certified childbirth educator and professional doula, breastfeeding expert and CPR instructor in both private practice and in a hospital setting for over 20 years. Throughout her RN practice, she has focused on empowering her clients with education and resources, advocating for natural childbirth. As part of the Vitamins First team, Audra utilizes her knowledge and experience to encourage natural health and wellness. Previously Audra homeschooled her 4 children and today continues to follow her passion of ministering to children at church and around the world through Operation Christmas Child and its distribution of shoeboxes. Audra has also completed Level 3 of the American Sign Language courses.

Kathy Danielson

Consultant

Kathy has pursued her interest in a positive lifestyle and nutrition and has been involved in the health food industry for the past 15 years. She studied Herbology and Food Science and has been a flower essence practitioner for nine years. Kathy is a tai chi advocate as well as an avid outdoors person Discussing methods of maintaining or improving our health is her top priority.

Svetlana Borovko

Consultant

Svetlana has been interested in esotericism, aromatherapy, herbs, philosophy, and psychology since her childhood. So, when she moved to Canada from Russia she found her inner interest increased, and expanded towards food, holistic lifestyle and emotional involvement. Thus, she pursued her interest in attending CSNN and graduating from the holistic nutritionist program. Currently, she is gaining more knowledge through the books, information in the store, and observing. Svetlana is willing to change not just her own world in positive direction, but others too. For it, there should be an acceptance for the change first.

Andrew Savage MBA

Consultant

Andrew has over 25 years business experience in management, investments, business brokering and consulting including time with Royal Bank, where he completed a number of branch management assignments, prior to becoming a commercial lender. In addition, he has led a team of investors to purchase companies in the real estate, social services, hospitality and transportation industries. His pursuit of a proactive health and wellness model led him to be part of the Vitamins First team.
